So, because your weapon and armor power is tied to your weapon level, you lose A LOT of power, and as such you gotta evolve all the way back up. To evolve, you need to get exp. You can get exp from killing behemoths and claiming bounties. WebThe amount of xp to level a weapon needs to be cut to 1/5th. Yes, an 80% reduction. It is ridiculous. With full power surged gear, reforging to level 1 doesn't set you back to fighting lesser gnashers. I struggled with the level 20 behemoths, but level 10 behemoths at level 1 gear was totally fine. It still takes way too long to gain weapon levels.
